Washing Machines Repairs & Parts
Repairing a washing machine may sound complicated, but these machines are pretty simple inside. With a few basic tools and the steps we show here.
As a local resident in the Isle of Purbeck, with a business that has been running successfully for many years now, I have built up a good reputation, both with other local business and with members of the local community. Furthermore, I always strive to do my best for my customers. A benefit of living locally is that I can keep costs down in comparison to engineers who are based outside of the area.
The two main questions I get asked are “Is it worth repairing or should I get a new one?” and “It’s very old, is it worth it?” I believe, in contrast to the throwaway culture that we live in, that it is better and cheaper to repair your existing machine, rather than to replace it. This is easier on the pocket as well as being much more environmentally friendly. Even the loudest noise or lack of life within your machine can often be repaired at a reasonable cost and is certainly a lot cheaper than a replacement.
I am a qualified PAT Tester and hold the 17th Edition IEE electrical Installation certificate as well as the City and Guilds 2357 level 3.
